Vehicle traffic at Gouvães Dam, on EM 557 road, will be closed between September 10 and 18. The traffic cut is due to the assembly work of the dam's shield fixed components.
The cut will be applied daily, between 08:00 and 18:00, in the area of the infrastructure's crest. During this period, vehicle traffic over the dam is prohibited.
According to the municipal notice published, a properly signposted traffic detour will be implemented to guide drivers to an alternative route during the works.
The council also informs that local access for residents in the area will be guaranteed during the dam intervention period.
