Vasco announced the signing of midfielder Alan Lescano, 24 years old, who was at Argentinos Juniors-ARG. The player arrived in Rio de Janeiro last Friday to undergo medical exams and sign a contract with the cruz-maltino club until December 2029. Known by the nickname "Pipa," Lescano was asked at the airport about his playing style and defined himself as "a more creative defensive midfielder who likes to orchestrate plays."
The agreement between Vasco and Argentinos Juniors involved approximately $7 million, which corresponds to approximately R$36 million at the current exchange rate, according to information from the Ge website. The midfielder was the number 10 of the Argentine club in his final stretch at the club.
For the Argentine team, Lescano played 123 games, scored 27 goals, and provided nine assists. In the current season, the player has found the net twice in six matches played. When bidding farewell to Argentinos Juniors, the midfielder even got emotional after the club's final game.
