Government prepares solution for water shortage in Almada, Environment Minister assures

The Government is preparing a solution to resolve the water shortage in Almada. The Environment Minister assures that this technical solution will be complementary to the use of groundwater.

The Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) and the Águas de Portugal Group (AdP) are the entities responsible for developing the project. Both have a deadline of 120 days to present a concrete proposal solution.
