Yaya Touré is set to become the first African coach in the Champions League. The former Ivorian midfielder, who played for clubs such as Barcelona, Manchester City and Olympiacos, is now the coach of Slovan Bratislava.

The Slovak team will make their debut in the lucrative competition away at Paris Saint-Germain. This will be Touré's first match as a coach in the Champions League.

The 41-year-old coach acknowledges that he faces additional challenges for being African. He stated that he has to work three times as hard to achieve the same results as his European colleagues.
