The Mesão Frio Health Centre was the subject of an intervention funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), with the aim of improving the energy efficiency, accessibility, safety, and comfort of the facilities. Among the works carried out is the creation of a covered outdoor shelter at the entrance, intended to improve the waiting conditions for patients. The intervention aims to modernize and adapt the building to the current needs of health professionals and the local population. This intervention is part of a broader set of PRR investments in the modernization of health infrastructures in Portugal.
