Chaves close to signing Mexican international Néstor Araújo

Mexican central defender Néstor Araújo is very close to reinforcing Chaves. The 35-year-old player could join the Flaviense team in the coming hours, in what appears to be a practically closed deal.

Araujo has extensive international experience, having accumulated 67 caps for the Mexican national team throughout his career.

The central defender arrives to strengthen Chaves' defensive sector, which is looking to bolster its roster of players for the rest of the season. With his experience and track record, Araújo represents a significant signing for the Portuguese team.
