Ovie Ejaria, former Liverpool player, decided to use LinkedIn to look for a new club after being without a team at 28. The midfielder posted an ad on the professional network informing that he is available to receive offers, describing himself as a candidate for midfield positions (6, 8 or 10) or as a left winger.
Ejaria has a resume that includes stints at Liverpool, Rangers and experience in three different countries. Recently, the player played for Real Oviedo in the last season of the Spanish Championship, where he played eight matches.
In his post, Ejaria wrote: "Currently I am without a club and seeking the right opportunity. If there is an opportunity or if you know of a club looking for a midfielder, feel free to send me a direct message." The ad was described as an unconventional tool in the football market for finding a job.
