OpenAI managed to solve a decades-old mathematical enigma in a period of 88 hours. To achieve this feat, the company used an innovative approach that involved more than 10,000 artificial intelligence agents working in a concerted and coordinated manner.
The AI model produced more than 130 billion tokens during the problem-solving process. This massive amount of generated content was necessary to explore and analyze the multiple mathematical possibilities involved in the enigma.
The problem in question had remained unsolved for decades, having resisted numerous resolution attempts by the traditional mathematical community. OpenAI's approach demonstrated the ability of AI systems to collaborate massively to address complex computational challenges.
