UA shows that not everyone starts from the same place

Diário de Aveiro9 September 2026 at 09:00

The University of Aveiro hosted the "Privilege Race" initiative, organized by GUIA, with the aim of raising awareness about the inequalities that influence students' academic paths. The activity sought to demonstrate that not all students start from the same starting point in their academic trajectories. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the different conditions and resources that each student possesses throughout their academic life. GUIA promoted this action as a way to make the academic community aware of the disparities that affect students.
