At least four people died in Russia, including a child, in Ukrainian drone attacks. Another 29 people were injured in these attacks that mainly targeted the Krasnodar region in the south of the country. The attacks mainly targeted the Russian Black Sea port city of Novorossiysk.
Moscow's forces managed to shoot down 596 Ukrainian aircraft overnight, distributed across 10 Russian regions and the annexed Crimean Peninsula. This was one of the largest drone interception operations recorded since the conflict began.
The port city of Novorossiysk, located on the Black Sea, was one of the main targets of these attacks. The governor of the Krasnodar region confirmed the deaths and injuries, detailing the human toll of the Ukrainian offensive against Russian territory.
