Inditex, Zara's parent company, posted a record net profit of 2,980 million euros in the first half of the fiscal year, corresponding to the period from February 1 to July 31, 2026. This figure represents growth of 6.8% compared to the same period in 2025, according to information communicated to the Spanish stock market regulator (CNMV).
The Galician textile group's sales reached 19,755 million euros in the period, a record figure reflecting year-on-year growth of 7.6%. At constant exchange rates, sales grew 9.2%, showing even stronger performance when the currency effect is removed.
Inditex's gross profit (EBITDA) reached 5,513 million euros, an increase of 7.8% compared to the first half of the previous year, demonstrating the group's ability to improve its operational profitability.
The company expects the positive trend to continue, indicating that sales in physical and online stores, at constant exchange rates, between August 1 and September 7, 2026, grew 9% compared to the same period in 2025.
