Tehran responds to US attacks and targets American bases in Jordan

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated today that it carried out attacks on two American warships and US bases in Jordan. Iran attacks two American warships and bases in Jordan

Iran, through the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, announced it attacked two American destroyers and the Al Azraq military base in Jordan, causing damage to parking facilities for F-35, F-16 and F-15 fighters. The attack, described as retaliation for American bombings against Iranian oil tankers, was largely neutralized by the Jordanian army, which destroyed 18 of the 20 Iranian missiles fired. The US Army Central Command confirmed having destroyed five vessels associated with the IRGC in response to previous attacks, while Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned that Tehran will continue to lose oil tankers whenever it attacks American warships.
