The rehabilitation works of Dr. Ângelo Augusto da Silva Basic and Secondary School and its respective sports pavilion have been completed, now providing better conditions for teaching, work, and learning to the school community.

The investment in this intervention was approximately 6.9 million euros, including VAT, and was ensured by the Regional Government. Works began in September 2024 and had an execution period of 720 days.

The work proceeded within the scheduled timeframe, without significant delays. The intervention focused on a complete rehabilitation of the facilities, allowing the school to offer a more suitable environment for academic and sporting activities.
