The weather forecast indicates storms in several regions of Brazil this Wednesday (9). Meteorological troughs are expected to increase atmospheric instability, mainly in the South and Central-West regions of the country.
According to the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet), Paraná, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, and Mato Grosso do Sul are among the areas with the highest potential for storms, with possibility of hail and intense wind gusts.
In the Northeast, dry, hot weather with low humidity prevails in Tocantins, south-central Maranhão and Piauí, and western Bahia.
September marks the transition period to spring, which begins at the end of the month. The increase in temperatures and humidity favors the formation of rain showers and storms, especially in the late afternoon.
