DAZN renews Formula 1 in Portugal until 2030

Dia de Jogo — jornal desportivo9 September 2026 at 01:53

The DAZN streaming platform has renewed the Formula 1 broadcasting rights in Portugal for a few more years. The new contract guarantees the continuity of the races until 2030.

With this renewal, Portuguese viewers will be able to continue following all the championship Formula 1 races through DAZN, which has held these rights since 2021.

DAZN did not reveal the values involved in this contract renewal. This is a common practice in these sports rights negotiations, where values are often kept confidential.

Formula 1 has been gaining popularity in Portugal in recent years, driven by the success of drivers like Fernando Alonso and, more recently, by the rise of Miguel Silva, who became the first Portuguese driver to compete in the top category of world motorsport.
