Young pilot Vicente Capela, from Beja, achieved a standout result by stepping onto the podium at the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Academy, a competition held at the Aspar Circuit Karting Track in Valencia, Spain.
In the combined results of the three races held at the Spanish circuit, Capela achieved second place in the overall classification, a result he considered very positive.
The event took place in an extremely competitive Junior category, where engines were drawn, which required the young pilot to have the ability to manage pressure and know when to attack at the right moment. In a statement sent to "CA", Capela shared his satisfaction with the result and dedicated the trophy to Portugal.
Following this participation in Spain, Vicente Capela already has his next commitments scheduled, being present on September 19th and 20th at the fourth round of the RMC — Rotax Max Challenge Portugal, to be held at the International Karting Circuit of the Algarve, in Portimão.
