"Live, work and invest": Fornos de Algodres launches new bid to attract people

The Municipality of Fornos de Algodres signed a cooperation protocol with Rural Move, in a partnership that aims to attract new people, opportunities and projects to the municipality. The protocol was signed last Friday, October 4.

The initiative, which has the motto "Live, work and invest", aims to bring the municipality of Fornos de Algodres closer to people looking in the country's interior a place to reside, practice professional activity or invest.

The local authority expresses the desire to conquer new inhabitants, new job opportunities and new projects for the region, which faces desertification challenges typical of the Portuguese interior.

Through this partnership with Rural Move, Fornos de Algodres hopes to position itself as an attractive alternative for those looking for a life outside the major urban centers.
