PS demands certainty about Via Expresso and new police station

The Socialist Party demanded more certainty from the Regional Government regarding the Via Expresso between the town of Ponta do Sol and Canhas, in the context of the solemn session commemorating the 525 years of the municipality. Sidónio Pestana, PS representative, considered this road one of the council's main priorities and asked for concrete evidence to be presented about a work promised since at least 2009. During his speech at the session held in Canhas, the socialist representative stated that the population is entitled to more than just announcements after so many years of promises. Sidónio Pestana requested the public presentation of the project, the route and a concrete schedule for the intervention to address the mobility needs of the region.
