The deputies were elected and needed to acquire tools to understand how recommendations become policy decisions. This was the context for the Training Day of Health Parliament Portugal.
Health Parliament Portugal is a project developed in partnership by Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, NOVA University Lisbon, and Microsoft. The newspaper Expresso serves as media partner for this initiative.
The Training Day aimed to allow the elected deputies to get to know each other better and acquire the necessary knowledge to understand the process of developing public health policies.
The training specifically addressed the transition between recommendations and concrete decisions within health policies, providing participants with the first tools for the exercise of their duties.
