The vast majority of Portuguese people are already connected to the digital world to manage their money, according to the Barometer Doutor Finanças – Digital Financial Literacy. This study was conducted in July and gathered responses from more than 700 people living in Portugal, now being published in the context of International Literacy Day, celebrated on September 8.
The survey confirms that the internet has already become part of Portuguese people's daily lives, including in financial management. According to the data collected, 74% of respondents manage their money through MB Way and 73% use their bank's application for their operations.
However, these high usage numbers are not synonymous with widespread trust on the part of Portuguese people regarding digital financial management tools.
