Miami Accident: two pilots of Amazon cargo plane that hit cars discharged from hospital

The two pilots of the Amazon cargo plane that ran off the runway after landing at Miami International Airport were discharged from the hospital, authorities reported on Tuesday (8). The aircraft, a 1994-built Boeing 767-300 operated by an Amazon third-party company, crossed the airport's perimeter fence on Sunday, struck two vehicles and killed five people.

Miami-Dade County Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz said at a press conference that three other people involved in the accident remain hospitalized, two in serious condition and one in stable condition.

The US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is leading the investigation into the accident, while the Miami-Dade County Sheriff's Office is cooperating with the inquiries. New photos were also released showing the damage caused to the aircraft after the incident.
