Portuguese companies seek opportunities in Saudi Arabia

Portuguese health sector companies are seeking business opportunities in Saudi Arabia. The companies DigestAID, ITGest and NB Clinic are among those identifying growth potential in that Middle Eastern country.

These Portuguese companies focus on areas such as artificial intelligence applied to medical diagnosis, digital transformation of hospitals and new models of healthcare delivery in the areas of aesthetic medicine, prevention, wellness and longevity.

Saudi Arabia is currently investing in the modernization of its health system, which creates favorable conditions for companies offering innovative solutions in this sector.

This initiative comes at a time when the country is boosting its economy through investments in technology and innovation in the health sector.

China Automobile Dealers Association and ASFAC Discuss Automobile Credit Cooperation

The Association of Specialized Credit Institutions (ASFAC) met in Lisbon with a delegation from the China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA), which represents approximately 18,000 members in the Chinese automobile sector, to discuss cooperation opportunities in automobile financing, with special focus on new energy vehicles. However, ASFAC criticized the absence of concrete information on the transposition to Portugal of the new European consumer credit contracts regime, whose deadline ended in November 2025, warning that this uncertainty harms the preparation of institutions and the evaluation of new partnerships. The meeting had the support of the Embassy of China in Portugal and the law firm Broseta.
