The Encounter of Engineering in Alentejo takes place on October 10 and 11 in the municipality of Sines, Setúbal district, as announced by the promoters. The event includes technical visits, tours, sports activities and socializing.
This year's edition is co-organized by the Sines branch of the Order of Engineers and the district delegations of Beja, Évora and Portalegre, bringing together engineering professionals and enthusiasts in the Alentejo region.
On the first day, technical visits are scheduled to the REN Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal in Sines and the Roman Ruins of Miróbriga in Santiago do Cacém, followed by a socializing dinner and the delivery of prizes for the photography contest "Engineering in Alentejo".
On the second day, the morning will be dedicated to sports and socializing activities, with the possibility of participating in a motorized tour between Porto Covo and Zambujeira do Mar, in the municipality of Odemira, Beja district, or a hike in the Porto Covo area.
