Edgar Silva and Élvio Passos are the authors of the book titled "Struggles against the dictatorship from Portugal Democrático – transatlantic connections". The work addresses the struggles against the dictatorship through the newspaper "Portugal Democrático", establishing transatlantic connections.

The book will be launched next Friday in Funchal, capital of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The launch session will take place in the assembly hall of the Municipal Assembly of Funchal, starting at 5 PM.
