How is the Rock in Rio coverage done? Reporter shows behind the scenes of GLOBO's work at the festival

O GLOBO has covered Rock in Rio since the festival's first edition in 1985. The coverage involves a dynamic routine, with planned stories that don't always come to fruition and reports that arise spontaneously throughout the event. Climatic conditions also challenge the team, which needs to adapt to both rain and sun.

Reporter Talita Duvanel is one of the professionals responsible for covering the festival. She has already covered the 2022 and 2024 editions and, in the video "O GLOBO POR DENTRO - Rock in Rio," shares details about her daily routine at Cidade do Rock and the experience of covering the event for the third time.

In the 2026 edition, approximately 35 people work on covering the festival. The team is composed of reporters, photographers, editors, video and art staff, as well as professionals responsible for logistics and infrastructure. The work is divided between the event venue and the newspaper's Newsroom.

The team's goal is to bring readers all the behind-the-scenes details and shows of Rock in Rio, capturing every moment of the festival for the public.
