The Prime Minister announced a set of measures to support pensioners and provide tax relief on IRS, totaling 800 million euros. These measures will be submitted for approval in the Council of Ministers next week.
The measures are intended to support pensioners through supplements, as well as to provide tax relief to taxpayers through IRS benefits. The total value of 800 million represents the planned investment for these initiatives.
Portugal also appears as one of 11 countries adhering to the restrictions imposed by the United Kingdom on products from Israeli settlements. This position fits within a broader context of international policies regarding Israeli settlements.
The fiscal and social measures announced by the government come at a time of debate about the cost of living and support for Portuguese families, while the adherence to British restrictions reflects Portugal's alignment with international positions on the Israeli-Palestinian issue.
