British singer Elton John was the most searched artist on the Brazilian internet during the first weekend of Rock in Rio, according to an exclusive survey by Google Brasil done for O GLOBO. The musician performed as the headliner of Monday night's show at the festival.
In second place in the search ranking was Black Eyed Peas, one of the Palco Mundo stars who performed on Sunday. The American hip hop and pop group took the silver medal in the survey.
Third place went to South Korean k-pop band Stray Kids, who haven't even performed in Brazil yet. The band is the headliner of next Friday's show at the festival, but is already among the most searched artists of the event.
Rounding out the top 5 are Avenged Sevenfold, headliners of the metal day, and Foo Fighters, who were the big star of the first day of the festival. The complete list continues with Ne-Yo, Maroon 5, Bring Me The Horizon, Calvin Harris and Laufey.
