A group of young people from Fornos de Algodres will travel to Brussels between September 10 and 12 to learn firsthand about European institutions. The trip is part of an initiative integrated into the Youth Parliament, a program that promotes young people's involvement in political life and the institutions of the European Union.
The preparation for this trip took place last Friday, September 4, at the Town Hall of Fornos de Algodres. At this meeting, the last logistical details and the participants' expectations regarding the visit were discussed.
During their trip to Brussels, the young people will have the opportunity to explore the main European institutions, deepening their knowledge about how the European Union works and the role these organizations play in society.
This experience aims to encourage active citizenship among the young people of the municipality, providing them with a practical perspective on European decision-making processes and the impact of EU policies on citizens' daily lives.
