Leonor Rocha, a young pilot of just 13 years old from Ponte de Lima, achieved a notable victory in the closing round of the Toyota Portuguese Karting Championship (CPK), at the International Kartodrome of Braga. The athlete completed her second season in the X30 Júnior category with a victory in the fifth and final race of the competition, winning both the Pre-Final and the Final.
This victory represented a confirmation weekend of the pilot's potential, who had already demonstrated her value throughout the season. In March, she achieved second place in the Winter Cup in Viana do Castelo, and also managed a second place in the Spanish Karting Championship (CEK), at the round in Campillos, in Málaga, considered one of the best national karting championships in Europe.
Leonor Rocha is the daughter of Nelson Rocha, former national champion in kartcross and drift, and finished CPK in the top 3 of the X30 Júnior category, facing strong competition. The young pilot stated that the season was demanding, dividing her time between Portugal and Spain, and that they could have fought for the title if they hadn't had some setbacks in the first two races, in Viana do Castelo and Portimão.
Before competing in the X30 Júnior category, Leonor Rocha had already accumulated significant achievements, including the title of national vice-champion in the Micro Academy category in 2022, third place in Cadete, and in 2025 she became national vice-champion both in X30 Júnior and Júnior Max, categories in which she debuted at just 11 years old.
