In a phone call held on Tuesday (8), Russian President Vladimir Putin guaranteed US President Donald Trump that the country has no plans to attack Europe. The information was released by Kremlin advisor Yuri Ushakov after the call.
According to Ushakov, Trump told Putin that the end of the conflict in Ukraine would immediately open the way for the complete restoration of relations between Russia and the United States. Putin stated that speculations about the "Russian threat" serve as a pretext for the European Union to increase support for Kiev and its military spending.
The Russian leader also broke down what the American side could do to end hostilities in Ukraine as quickly as possible. The results of the missions of American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow and Kiev were positively evaluated by Putin.
