São João das Lampas celebrates this Thursday, September 9, the 487 years of the founding of the parish and the Parish. The celebrations aim to mark a historic date for the community, highlighting the parish's journey and the contribution of the population to the construction of its present and future.
The festivities begin at 11:00, in front of the Parish Council headquarters, with a commemorative ceremonial session. The program also includes the Festivities of Our Lady of Health, reinforcing the religious and community character of the celebrations.
At 19:00, a eucharist takes place at the Mother Church for the 487th anniversary of the founding of the parish and the Parish, with participation from local associations and community groups.
The emotions continue at night, with live music. At 22:00, artist Ruth Marlene takes the stage, followed at 23:00 by a performance by Insert Coin, thus closing the extensive program of Parish Day.
