Arco de Baúlhe, in the municipality of Celorico de Basto, hosted the four-day celebrations of the Pilgrimage of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios. This religious event featured the special presence of Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich, from Luxembourg.
Cardinal Hollerich presided over the religious celebrations during two days of the event, specifically on Friday, September 4, and Sunday, September 6, taking a central role in the festivities.
On Friday, after the Mass celebrated by the Cardinal, a procession took place, marking another solemn moment of the pilgrimage dedicated to Nossa Senhora dos Remédios.
This type of pilgrimage is a deeply rooted religious tradition in several Portuguese communities, bringing together faithful followers to honor the patron saint and participate in activities of faith and community fellowship over several days.
