Moroccan footballer Adel Taarabt announced the end of his professional career. The former Benfica player, who played for the red and white emblem between 2010 and 2013, decided to close this chapter of his sporting life.
Taarabt was one of Benfica's most high-profile signings in the 2010/2011 season, arriving in Lisbon from Tottenham. During his time at the Portuguese club, the attacking midfielder won two important titles: a Portuguese League and a Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira.
The Moroccan left a farewell message on social media, stating that he wouldn't change his sporting journey. Throughout his career, Taarabt also represented clubs such as Fulham, QPR, Milan, and Lens, among others.
