The Chega party accused Luís Neves of "managing the Ministry with a lack of common sense," comparing his performance to the way he managed the Judicial Police.
The accusation comes following a visit to Madeira during the anniversary of the PSP, where Luís Neves admitted to being unable to fill the open vacancies in the police.
The party states that the minister said in a "frivolous and uncommitted manner" that he has many police officers retained in active service without being able to exercise their right to pre-retirement.
