The president of Chega, André Ventura,再次 defended the resignation of the Minister of Internal Administration, insisting on the presentation of a motion of censure against the government official. Ventura considered that there is an "unprecedented degradation" of Portuguese institutions.

The Chega party has been pressing for the minister's departure, pointing to failures in the area of internal administration. This is not the first time that André Ventura's party has demanded the resignation of the government member.
