Hovione Holding AG announced that Stefan Doboczky will be the new CEO of the company starting April 1, 2027. Doboczky is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hovione Holding AG, a position he has held for two years and which he will now leave to assume the executive leadership of the company.
This appointment represents Stefan Doboczky's return to the pharmaceutical industry after 17 years at Royal DSM, where he was a member of the Executive Committee. The new CEO holds a master's degree in Technical Chemistry and a doctorate in Natural Sciences, having served as CEO of industrial companies for 11 years and held the position of Chief Commercial Officer and Vice President of the Executive Committee at Borouge International.
Guy Villax, non-executive director and Chairman of the Family Board, stated that Doboczky's international experience, commercial expertise and proven ability to transform companies sustainably position him uniquely to lead Hovione in its next phase of growth.
