Spain strengthens support for the national renewable technology industry

Spain announced a new program to strengthen support for the national renewable technology industry. The program aims to boost Spanish production of equipment and components for clean energy.

The program covers several strategic areas, including batteries, electrical grids, wind energy, renewable hydrogen, solar energy and heat pumps. These technologies are considered essential for the country's energy transition.

The Spanish government intends in this way to strengthen the competitiveness of the national industry in the renewable energy sector, reducing dependence on imports and creating new economic opportunities in the country.
