Santander Foundation Portugal opens applications for a new edition of the Social Innovation Prize, dedicated to the Future of Education, which will distribute a total of 20 thousand euros among three winning projects. Applications are open until October 11 on the Santander X platform and are aimed at social organizations, companies, and startups in Portugal. The first place receives 10 thousand euros and the second and third places receive five thousand euros each, in addition to capacity building programs and specialized mentoring. The prize aligns with the Charter for the Future of Education, focusing on areas such as lifelong learning, future skills, literacy, and education for sustainability. The foundation's president, Inês Rocha de Gouveia, stated that the goal is to support those already working in the field with tools to grow and expand impact. The initiative is developed in partnership with Impact Hub Lisboa and relies on voting by Santander employees for the final selection.
