Real Madrid in the Champions League: Endrick called up for the first time this season

Brazilian Endrick is Real Madrid's new addition for Tuesday's match against Inter Milan, in the first round of the Champions League. Recovered from injury, the 20-year-old forward was called up by coach José Mourinho for the first time this season and has the opportunity to make his debut in the European tournament.

Endrick suffered a muscle injury before Real Madrid's LaLiga opener and was out for the team's first four matches. The player trained with the main squad for the first time on Sunday and has not played since Budapest.

Coach José Mourinho called for caution regarding the forward and recalled the period he was inactive. According to Mourinho, Endrick may only be ready to play for 5 minutes, at most 10. The coach stated that the player is not fit enough to play longer than that, but will have a spot on the bench.

Mourinho assured that Endrick will play in attack, whether as a striker, midfielder, or on the wings. The Brazilian had offers to leave Real Madrid, but was called up for Tuesday's match.
