The locality of Paradinha, in the district of Viseu, hosted on September 5 the first Drum Festival. This initiative was promoted by the local drum group in partnership with the Sports, Cultural and Recreational Association of Paradinha.
The event brought together several drum groups from the region, accompanied by many people from the local community. The afternoon was marked by traditional music, by fellowship among participants and by the celebration of traditions associated with drums.
This cultural manifestation, which is part of Portuguese popular traditions, found in this encounter a moment of sharing and valuing these practices, bringing together both performers and audience in an environment of celebration of local culture.
