The Feast of Solhas took place between September 4th and 6th in Lanhelas, celebrated with great enthusiasm by the people of Lanhelas in honor of the Lord of Health and Saint Rita of Cassia. The event took place at Jardim de São Gregório, which once again filled with visitors during the three days of celebration.
The festivities included music, processions, traditional games, concerts, typical gastronomy and lots of fun, providing moments of enthusiasm and devotion. Hundreds of visitors were present throughout the event.
As a highlight of the festivities, the Band Competition stood out, which took place on Saturday night, September 5th. On Sunday afternoon, September 6th, the Solemn Procession took place in honor of the Lord of Health and Saint Rita of Cassia.
The procession brought together hundreds of devotees, locals and visitors, in a moment described as the greatest emotion and collective faith of the entire celebration.
