A Spanish-Egyptian archaeological mission discovered an exceptional tomb at the end of the V Egyptian dynasty in Saqqara, dating back approximately 4,400 years. The discovery was considered remarkable by researchers due to the excellent state of conservation of the structure.
The tomb has two funerary chapels and features polychrome reliefs in very good condition. The original colors of the reliefs were preserved, which is rare given the antiquity of the structure.
The reliefs depict agricultural scenes and offering processions, providing valuable information about funerary practices and daily life in ancient Egypt during the V dynasty period.
