Trump expressed the intention to change the name of the state of New Mexico to "New America". This suggestion comes in the context of a series of renaming proposals that the former president has been making.

Last week, Trump also suggested changing the name of the Strait of Hormuz to "Trump Strait", at a time when the war with Iran continues.

Hours after proposing the renaming of the Strait of Hormuz, Trump hinted that he wasn't serious about that suggestion.
