Portugal maintains results close to the OECD average in PISA 2025, which represents a moderate position in the international education ranking.

Trump threatens to block sales of Canadian Bombardier in the United States

The former president of the United States, Donald Trump, threatened through the social network Truth Social to block the sales of Canadian manufacturer Bombardier in the United States, stating that it is time to "stop selling" the company in the country and questioning the quality of its products. Trump argued that Bombardier greatly benefits from the North American market and that, to have access to that market, the company would have to produce in the United States and stop treating the country as a "cash cow". This offensive comes in a context of growing trade tension between Washington and Ottawa, and it is not the first time Trump has taken measures against Bombardier, having already threatened to impose 50% tariffs on the company's aircraft and questioned the certification of its planes, in a dispute related to Canada's refusal to certify certain Gulfstream aircraft manufactured in the United States.
