Among the main concerns are the insufficiency of professionals in the divisions, rooms without the necessary infrastructure, and the management of domestic violence cases, which require special attention and adequate resources.
The office of the Minister of Justice, Rita Júdice, responded to Diário de Notícias stating that the executive wants to "structurally transform the functioning of Justice", implicitly acknowledging the deficiencies existing in the system.
The Ministry of Justice ensures it is "reinforcing resources" to address the identified gaps, although sector professionals remain doubtful about the effectiveness of the promised measures.
