The municipality of Bragança invested 2.4 million euros in the acquisition of six new electric buses for the Bragança Urban Transport Service (STUB). This amount represents a significant investment in the renewal of the city's public transport fleet.
The presentation of the new electric fleet took place yesterday, with the new municipal investments in the area of electric mobility also being revealed. The event allowed citizens to see the vehicles that will reinforce urban transport in the city.
This acquisition is part of a broader strategy for the transition to more sustainable and ecological means of transport. The new electric buses are replacing older and more polluting vehicles, contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint in the public transport sector.
With this investment, Bragança reinforces its commitment to electric and sustainable mobility, positioning itself as a pioneering municipality in the adoption of environmentally friendly transport solutions.
