The Socialist Party (PS) had already taken the decision not to enable the motion of censure presented by Chega. However, the position regarding the form of voting was still not defined.
The question was whether the PS would vote against or abstain from voting on the Motion of Censure. This decision was awaited before the plenary session.
In parallel, at least two people died in Russian attacks against the city of Kyiv, capital of Ukraine.
The attack represents another episode of the ongoing violence in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
