PS and PCP expressed dissatisfaction with the explanations presented by the Government regarding the fuel issue. The opposition parties were not satisfied with the arguments put forward by the ministry.
The Energy Minister intervened to clarify the situation, assuring the Portuguese people that the AD executive is not making profits from the current fuel situation. The person responsible for the energy sector tried to demonstrate that the Executive is not financially benefiting from the situation.
This intervention comes at a time of particular concern for consumers, who are facing high fuel costs. The opposition remained skeptical of the Government's statements, continuing to question the current energy policy in place.
