PSP agents accused of beating immigrant to death begin trial today

The trial of two PSP agents from Olhão accused of kidnapping and homicide begins today at the Tribunal Judicial de Faro. The agents are accused of having beaten a Moroccan man to death.

The trial takes place about two and a half years after the events that resulted in the death of Aissa Ait Aissa. The case occurred in Olhão and involves agents of the Polícia de Segurança Pública of that city.

The two police officers face charges of kidnapping and homicide. The case will be tried at the Tribunal Judicial de Faro.
