The President of the Regional Government of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, had a busy agenda this Tuesday, which included a visit to the works for the reformulation of the Cancela Junction. At 11 am, Albuquerque went to the site to check on the status of the works, which are in the final stretch phase.
The reformulation works at the Cancela Junction are expected to be completed during the month of October. The main purpose of the intervention is to improve traffic fluidity in the area, particularly during peak hours, addressing congestion problems that affect that road.
The total investment in this project is around 2.9 million euros, including VAT. This value represents the overall cost of the intervention being carried out at the Cancela Junction, one of the points considered strategic for road circulation in the region.
